Ryan Shea comes to us from the island of Martha’s Vineyard where he practiced for almost 20 years. Attracted by the natural beauty and slower pace of Vermont, Dr. Shea traded the oceans for the mountains moving with his wife and three boys.

Having spent most of his career practicing in a remote and rural setting, he has learned that rural doesn’t need to mean limited. Dr. Shea takes great pride in giving patients access to the most cutting edge technology and up-to-date medical knowledge in a way that makes vision and eye health understandable and collaborative.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Shea is exploring the outdoors of Vermont with his family, training jiu jitsu, cooking and gardening.
