Dr. Porter received his Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in 1989. Dr. Porter then completed his residency in Advanced Diagnostics and Clinical Care at Eye Health Services located in Boston Massachusetts. He has received both the Harold C. Warner and the Cleveland Dodge Community Service Awards for his continued support and providing eye screenings for the children of Bennington County Head Start. Co-authored a journal article entitled “Fluorescein Angiography: A Clinical Overview” which was published in both journal articles and textbook. He has been in practice with Advanced Eyecare for over 25 years. He specializes in family eyecare, contact lenses and Lasik co-management with TLC Laser Vision Center. He currently resides in Bennington with his family.
